Phase III provides for a 1,600 seat Sanctuary, (plus music space as well as an additional Adult Sunday School space to support the larger Sanctuary. Phase IV provides for a Youth Area, Chapel, Parlor, Library, Bride’s Room, renovation of interim worship space to convert to the master planned Family Life Center function. Phase V was completed in April 1995 and provides additional children’s class rooms. Phase VI was completed in May 1997.
There is also the Region 10 Education Service Center, located in Richardson, Texas. Services included analysis of space needs, programming, and space planning. BBA-A also, remodeled 14,000 sq. ft. of existing building while the users remained in the building. A 75-day duration of complete demolition to rebuilding interior from start to finish.

The Stonebridge United Methodist Church located in McKinney, Texas Master planned 14 acres. Master planned Sanctuary to seat 2,500. First Phase completed in 1999 to include a multipurpose worship Center seating 700, with education, administrative, parking. Phase Two is under construction for approximately 25,000 sq. ft. class room addition, and will provide for a Day School.

But maybe you are already a young architect and want to stir up some creative thoughts about new designs, maybe a better design of an already existing facility. Willard Daggett, president of the International Center for Leadership in Education, suggests, “technology is an important foundation for building.” He continues, “sustainability issues should be considered when building a design and that the design should have an artistic consideration.”

So where can an architect or aspiring architect go for more information besides the web?
