Question…at :35 and :38 you show slides of a museum in Japan. I accidently stumbled upon this building in January when I traveled to there. There is another building next to the one you show (not included in your presentation) that I find more Corbusiesque. It is said to be designed by Kunio Maekawa seems more Corbusier than any of Maekawa’s other works. Just wanted to know your thoughts.

I agree. This is a mess of pictures and music.

I think this video is good. People should stop thinking too much… just shut up and watch, if you don’t like it, go away.

Well, Pink Floyd was a band consisting of architect-students, and Le Corbusier was an famous architect.
ELVIS
What did you said about PINK FLOYD you FAGGOT, STINKY BREATH, ASS-EATER!
LOUIS
a nice lesson in the failure of modernism.
CLINT

Listen man, you don’t have to like it, you don’t have to watch it and you obviously don’t get it. Architecture is a visual thing and that is how I chose to present it. I am not a history teacher, you can do that if you want. Frankly your videos bore me.

and again: a couple of picts, a music score… and ready is my vid about Le Corbusier. but what do I see? what do you want to tell me? where are these buidings and when are they designed/built? why in this order? why that pipe at 3:15? etc etc. just random?

Many of these buildings look like they have not been used in years. Does anyone know which of Le Corbusiers buildings are still being occupied and used?
CHARLES
beside his mother’s home and a church, what did Corbu which really works as an architecture? great ideas (most of them copied from his travel to Russia… no joke) but merely well applied
LINDSEY
jeanneret was a genius, but he was a watch worker, not an architect. Incredible and awesome.
BOBBY

Corbusier and Wright are the genius to me! They have so many facets in their life that I cannot ever be able to talk about them, because I could be only referring to perhaps 0.1% of their thinking and contribution! Therefore,I could only admire them from my heart!—dancewu(dot)net

oh but at the same time this style of architecture isnt for everywere. i like it more in the more natural enviroments than the cityscapes, i think its due to the contrast between the organic natural enviro and the lifeless concrete etc love it!
HAROLD
WOW raw, lifeless, empty, simple but at the same time it has an amazing beauty that is hard to describe. amazing work to people that bag him get a life open ur minds up as it genuis people like this that move mankind and design foward i love his stuff but its strange cos i feel i shouldnt lol best way to describe his for me would be raw dead beauty lol

a prophet and a visionary..

Those buildings are the pinnacle of nihilism and brutalism in architecture. The sooner they are demolished, the better.

You guys are blind; thus, you shouldn’t even critique The Crows’ work since architecture is inherently visually dominant. Just take a moment and look at his work…Ugh… And as for breaking stereotypes, that has happened since the dawn of architecture… The first modern man to REALLY break away from the conventions of the day was Palladio. I do respect Le Corbusier and admire his fearlessness. However, he WAS the father of a discourse in architectural history which echoes work of Albert Speer.

and your point is?
